Anna Silk was born at St. Thomas University in Fredericton in New Brunswick, Canada. She is the daughter Peter Silk - an academic as well as Ilkay Silk, an accomplished actress, writer, director and producer. Anna was born in Fredericton, the child of Peter Silk and Ilkay Silk. Her mother is a "English-Turkish Cypriot expat" that is originally from Britain. Anna remembers attending the rehearsals of productions as a young girl and watching her mom working. At the beginning of her career Anna appeared in a number of commercials on television. Anna relocated to Toronto, Ontario, to pursue her acting. Over the years that followed, she eventually relocated in Los Angeles. Seth Cooperman and Anna met in Los Angeles in 2007, in an acting workshop. They became engaged in 2009 after getting married. Anna converted to Judaism in January 2011 and they renewed their vows at a Jewish wedding ceremony in Fredericton. Bo's same sex relationship, with Lauren (played Zoie Palermo) was featured in CNN as one of the top Television Couples. E! named the pair "the best TV Couple" of 2013. Entertainment Television.
