Charli Grace D'Amelio (/d@'mIlioU/ d@-MI-lee-oh;[2] born on May 1, 2004) is an American social media personality. After competing in dance competitions for the past 10 years, she began her social media career through posting dancing videos on TikTok. Her popularity grew quickly and became the top creator on the platform of video sharing TikTok by March 2020. Khaby Lame surpassed her at the end of the end of July 2022. The debut of D'Amelio's voice came with the animation of 2020 StarDog TurboCat. Seit 2021 she is a part of the Hulu Docuseries, The D'Amelio and Snap Original Charli vs. Dixie. The year 2022 was the first time D'Amelio played a star contestant. She would go on to win the title, along with Mark Ballas, in the thirty-first season of the dance contest series Dancing with the Stars. In addition, she has published two books, launched an online podcast and designed a nail varnish collection. Some of her other projects include a clothing brand makeup line, a mattress, multi-product business, and an apparel line. The first woman to have at least 50 million and 100 million followers on TikTok. D'Amelio was the top-earning TikTok female personality in 2019 as well as the top-earning person for the app in 2022 according to Forbes. It is said that she's TikTok's top star.
